CHF announced the completion of upgrades to the Karadimadai Primary Healthcare Center in Thenkarai Taluk, Coimbatore District. The upgrades were made possible through generous donations from CHF, RPP Constructions, and the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity. The new construction upgrades included a 20ft x 30ft covered multipurpose area and a bio waste room. CHF also donated wheelchairs, surgical lamps, water heaters, and other vital medical equipment. Dr. P. Aruna, Deputy Director of Health Services opened the newly built multipurpose covered area along with raffle tickets that were distributed to the public. This is our first Government Society Partnership Model in rural India as we collaborated with the Tamilnadu Government, RPP Infratech, the local Panchayat office, The Rotary Club of Texity, and Avinashilingam University to further develop and renovate Healthcare centers, provide health awareness programs, and conduct medical camps.
