Donation of Equipment to Nilgris PHCs - June 3, 2022

During my time in India, I realized that the rural Primary HealthCare Centers were under-equipped with medical supplies. Through the help of my foundation and other volunteers, we adopted 12 healthcare centers in the Nilgiris district. With the foundation and the help of the Rotary Club of Ootacamund, we donated essential medical equipment to these centers. The lead volunteers, Janapriya and Tharunika, helped during this time by speaking to individuals in the village and presenting the materials to the centers. The pandemic has affected many of the centers in their resources, so the addition of these materials will vastly improve the quality of care and life of the patients.
